Rafael Obrador has emerged as a potential Roma target after a productive loan at Torino, with the Benfica left-back unlikely to remain in Turin.

Il Messaggero reports that Roma, who have qualified for the Champions League, view the 22-year-old as cover should exits occur, and as an alternative to Wesley, who is attracting interest.

Obrador left Benfica on loan in January due to a lack of minutes and flourished in the second half of the campaign. Torino hold a purchase option valued at nine million euros, but indications are it will not be exercised.

The Spaniard impressed for Torino, contributing one goal and three assists, even if his late-season displays drew criticism.

No bid has been tabled by Roma yet, but any agreed fee would see Benfica pass 50% to Real Madrid.

Across 2025/26, he made 20 appearances for Benfica and Torino, 16 in Serie A, two in Liga Portugal Meu Super, one in Coppa Italia and one in Liga Portugal Betclic. He logged 1,446 minutes and supplied four assists.
