Santos duo Alex Nascimento and Enzo Boer are training away from the main group at CT Rei Pelé with futures unresolved. Both are contracted until the end of the year and, from June, can sign pre-contracts elsewhere and leave for free.

According to Diario Do Peixe, Ponte Preta tried to take Alex on loan in February, but Santos had exceeded the limit of loaned players.

Alex joined Santos in 2019 for the under-20s after spells at São Paulo and Fluminense. He debuted in 2020 but struggled and was loaned to Famalicão in Portugal. Injuries and Covid-19 then limited him.

He played seven times in 2023 and has 34 Santos appearances with one goal. After fracturing his right ankle in September 2023 before a Cruzeiro match, he began 2024 in physiotherapy and has five Série B outings this year.

Recent loans delivered six games for Portuguesa and nine for Athletic, and he was not reintegrated on returning from the latter.

Enzo joined the academy in September 2024 after years at São Paulo. Last year he scored four in 24 Paulista Sub-20 matches and two in 13 in the Brasileiro, and played three Copinha games this year.

He extended his deal, then joined Santo André on loan and debuted. A bid from ZTE of Hungary arrived, and president Marcelo Teixeira declined to sign off, judging the offer low. With the loan terminated to advance the sale, Enzo returned to Santos.
