São Paulo court freezes Figueirense’s cut from Allan’s Palmeiras sale to Manchester City | OneFootball

A São Paulo court has frozen any sums due to Figueirense from Allan’s transfer from Palmeiras to Manchester City, valued at R$ 240 million. The order arises from a 2020 lawsuit by M&F Investimentos e Participações S/A over a debt of R$ 8,984,202 cited in January 2025.

According to Globo.com, the urgent request to block credits was granted after the company learned of the move. It covers present or future amounts owed to Figueirense or its SAF, including residual rights and Fifa solidarity.

The ruling does not fix what share belongs to Figueirense, and applies only to credits recognised as the club’s up to the debt limit. Before last June’s Club World Cup, the club sold 20 per cent of Allan’s rights to Palmeiras for R$ 1.6 million, leaving 10 per cent.

Within that 10 per cent, five per cent was used as collateral in a 2022 loan with Athletico-PR.

The court has notified Palmeiras and the CBF not to pay Figueirense directly and to deposit any sums in a judicial account. Within five days they must provide values, holders, payment schedules and any third-party claims.

Blocked funds will not go to M&F Investimentos yet, remaining with the court until a further ruling as third-party rights and creditor priority are assessed. The club’s legal team is handling the case and there will be no comment for now.
