A São Paulo court has ordered the immediate suspension of Fatal Fans’ branding across Corinthians’ platforms, halting exposure, advertising and promotion linked to the sponsorship. The ruling was issued by the Juvenile Court at the Tatuapé Regional Forum.

Fatal Fans said it had not yet been notified, would comply with the ruling, and would explore ways to contest it. The injunction gives the club 15 days to remove or cover the logo on kits, venues, digital channels and other spaces, and to take down links from official outlets.

The ruling also requires effective age-verification measures to block children and adolescents from accessing content offered by the sponsor’s site.

The civil action was filed by the São Paulo Public Prosecutor’s Office. The decision cites the risk that the platform’s publicity could reach a large youth audience, particularly via the club’s various channels and locations.

The case is under judicial secrecy. At this stage, the order suspends brand exposure and promotion without necessarily terminating the contract.

The deal, formalised on 28 June, is worth R$ 22 million to December 2027, rising to R$ 31 million if renewed.

Part of the income has already helped settle a FIFA transfer ban. The brand currently appears on men’s football, basketball and futsal uniforms, while in women’s football the tie-up is used for awareness initiatives.

This week, Corinthians received a R$ 120 million offer from Fatal Model to become main sponsor, replacing Esportes da Sorte if betting houses are banned in Brazil.
