The Sereias da Vila welcomed, on Thursday morning (1), 30 girls from the Pra Ela Jogar social women’s football project, from Carapicuíba, São Paulo.
The project, which is completely free, serves girls aged 10 to 17 outside school hours and uses sports as a tool for inclusion, empowerment, and the development of girls and young women.
The girls were able to watch the team’s training session and then took a tour of the Memorial of Achievements, where they had access to the locker room, the press room, and also the sideline of the Vila Belmiro pitch.

“Today is being a very special and unique day for the girls,” said Ana Chagas, creator of Pra Ela Jogar.
For the girls who took part, the visit was also marked by emotion. “It was really cool to be able to get autographs and visit Vila Belmiro,” said Mirela, 10, a student in the project.
