Lorenzo Lucca, Giacomo Raspadori and Robinio Vaz headline Serie A’s costliest January business, as clubs spent 243.49m across the 31-day window, according to Football Italia.

The window shut at 19.00 GMT on Monday. Milan failed to finalise Jean-Philippe Mateta. Juventus signed Emil Holm from Bologna, Joao Mario moved the other way, and Roma added Bryan Zaragoza from Bayern Munich.

The month also brought Roma striker Donyell Malen. Napoli acquired Giovane. There was a return for Giacomo Raspadori from Atletico Madrid.

Technically, Lucca was the most expensive Serie A signing. Napoli first triggered an option to buy from Udinese before sending him on to Nottingham Forest.
