In the upcoming summer transfer window, one of the issues that FC Barcelona will face some problems in solving is that of Ansu Fati.

The forward has returned to the Catalan club after his loan stint with Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League, and is going to participate in the upcoming preseason under Hansi Flick.

The player’s top priority is to remain at Barcelona, which is why the Blaugrana are open to giving him an opportunity to convince Hansi Flick of his physical condition this preseason.

Still, there is every possibility that he can leave on another loan this summer. Barcelona actually prefer a full sale, but up to now, the only offers for a permanent purchase have come from Saudi Arabia, which does not interest Fati.

If he has to leave, Fati is looking only to join a team where he can have significant minutes and an opportunity to keep growing. Such a project has been offered to him by Sevilla, who have been working intensely to convince the player to join their team for the upcoming season.

In fact, their new coach, Garcia Pimienta, has already made it clear to Fati that he will be one of the leaders of the team, and will have a good opportunity to return to his best level, especially as there would be no European football and he can have good rest in between games.

Furthermore, according to SPORT, to further convince Fati, the Andalucians are also looking to bring two of his friends along with him this summer. They are already close to signing Ilaix Moriba on loan and are also fighting to sign Carles Alena. The acquisition of these two players will further brighten the chances of Sevilla to land Fati.

However, Fati’s wages might be a problem for the Andalucians, and they cannot pay even half of his wages. Thus, Barcelona will have to decide whether they pay the remaining part of his salary or keep him for the upcoming season with the risk of him further deteriorating his value with a lack of minutes on the pitch.
