Sevilla sign Lucas Stassin from Saint-Etienne on loan | OneFootball

Sevilla have signed Belgian striker Lucas Stassin on loan from Saint-Etienne and, with 13 hours left of the window, are turning attention to other positions.

L'Equipe reports that the deal is a loan with a non-obligatory €25 million option to buy, with Sevilla paying €2.5 million for the loan. If the option is triggered, the French club would retain 20% of any future sale.

He was left out of Saint-Etienne's squad at the last minute for the game against Dijon on Monday 31 August. He is due in Seville on Tuesday and could be available for the next match against Espanyol.

Head coach Luis García Plaza now has three centre-forwards for the 26/27 season, Isaac Romero, Robbie Ure and the Belgian.

Sporting director José Ignacio Navarro has overseen eight additions this summer to improve the squad, Jon Guridi, Juan Iglesias, Arouna Sangante, Julio Díaz, Fran González, Giorgi Kochorashvili, Robbie Ure and Lucas Stannis.
