Standout star drives Lorient past Angers | OneFootball

Pablo Pagis struck in the ninth minute with a low finish to set Lorient on course, as they beat Angers 2-0.

The forward drifted into the centre and guided his shot into the bottom left (9.), seizing the game's first clear chance and tilting control towards the hosts.

Pagis stayed busy between the lines. He slipped Jean-Victor Makengo through for a presentable opening that rose over the bar (15.).

After the restart, his clipped cross created a blocked effort for Bamba Dieng (57.). He then tested range himself from outside the box (62.), before releasing Dieng on a fast break for another attempt (66.).
