Mohamed Belloumi broke the deadlock in the 64th minute with a low left-footer, setting Hull City on their way to a 2-0 win at Millwall. The Algeria forward later supplied the clincher.
The substitute drifted into the right channel, took Matt Crooks' pass and guided his finish into the bottom left. That movement punished the Lions' high line and shifted the tie's momentum.
He stayed busy between the lines, teeing up Regan Slater for a blocked effort (71.). The threat drew Millwall's midfield back and opened lanes for Hull to counter.
Then he led a fast break and slipped in Joe Gelhardt to finish for the second (79.). The sequence underlined how his direct running and early release passes hurt a stretched back line.
He ended with one goal and one assist, plus three key passes and five touches in the box. Fourteen of his 16 passes found their target, a neat summary of how Hull's standout forward combined incision with care in possession.
