QPR’s new striker Justin Obikwu has still not recovered from an injury he picked up soon after joining the club.
Obikwu was signed from Coventry in January after Julien Stephan’s top scorer Rumarn Burrell suffered a hamstring injury in the 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday.
The Trinidadian is yet to make his debut for QPR, and manager Stephan said: “He has progressed well individually (in training). I hope he will perhaps be able towards at the end of next week to train collectively.
“It’s a three-game week, so we will not have a lot of collective sessions. Perhaps he will be able for the session before Sheffield United.”
QPR face Hull City next before a trip to Southampton on February 24.
There is some positive news for the R’s though, as injured trio Nicolas Madsen, Ilias Chair and Jonathan Varane should be included in the squad for the clash against Hull City.
