Stuttgart interested in Montpellier’s France U20 international Khalil Fayad | OneFootball

VfB Stuttgart are readying a considerable summer recruitment drive after securing qualification for next season’s UEFA Champions League, and according to a report from Foot Mercato, the Bundesliga club are showing an interest in Montpellier HSC’s Khalil Fayad (19).

In what has been a season of mixed fortunes for Montpellier, Fayad, who has netted on three occasions for La Paillade, has made his individual qualities show through. His promise is now garnering interest. The Franco-Moroccan midfielder could follow in the footsteps of compatriot Enzo Millot, who joined Stuttgart from AS Monaco. Fayad, who has changed agents twice in the past three months, is a name being pushed by members of the recruitment team at the Bundesliga club.

However, no concrete approach has yet been made for Fayad, a France U20 international. According to Foot Mercato, Montpellier, who have secured their Ligue 1 status for next season, rate their midfielder at over €5m.
