The Orlando City B team stood up with the entire organization as signings and acquisitions come on board for development and competition in 2026.

The two signings are from the Orlando City Academy. They are midfielder Justin Hylton and goalkeeper Juan Rojas. The acquisitions are forward Pedro Leoa and midfielder Ignacio Gomez.

Justin Hylton first took the pitch last season for Orlando City B. His entry was loud and successful. In his first two appearances after joining on June 1, he recorded two game-winning assists, both in stoppage time.

He had only taken the pitch as a late substitute three minutes earlier against Chattanooga FC. He set up midfielder Noah Levis for the game-winner. Then in the next match, he set up forward Dyson Clapier for a come-from-behind game-winner.

So those marveling at Hylton’s accomplishments have no surprise that officially he’s become the latest homegrown talent to advance in Orlando City’s developmental pathway.

Fellow Academy product Juan Rojas has signed a three-year MLS NEXT Pro contract with Orlando City B. He has established himself not only as a gifted shot-stopper but also as a leader on the field. He joins Tristan Himes, another homegrown player, on the team’s keeper squad.

Pedro Leoa joins the squad from the youth system of CR Flamengo in CFB Brasileiro U20, a Brazilian side known as one of the biggest clubs in the world. There, he made 40 appearances, scoring 20 goals plus six assists in over 3,000 minutes.

The striker promises to bring fire to the pitch for Orlando City B.

The acquisition of Ignacio Gomez comes in the form of a loan by Velez Sarsfield II of Argentina’s Torneo de Reserva youth league.

Gomez will contribute balance and energy to the squad as a box-to-box midfielder. He has appeared in 54 matches for his Buenos Aires-based side, scoring four goals in just under 3,000 minutes played.

From the Academy to international pitches, the latest roster additions promise a surge of talent across the Orlando City B. That means the future looks bright for the senior team.
