Timo Schlieck joins SC Verl on loan

Goalkeeper Timo Schlieck is set to join SC Verl on loan for the upcoming season. The 20-year-old will spend a year with the third-division side.

Schlieck moved from Borussia Dortmund’s youth academy to the RBL Academy in 2021. In March 2024, the goalkeeper signed his first professional contract with the Red Bulls.

In the 2024/25 season, Schlieck spent the year on loan at the reserve team of RSC Anderlecht in Belgium’s Challenger Pro League. In summer 2025, he joined SpVgg Greuther Fürth on loan. He will now continue his development at SC Verl across the upcoming campaign.
