Torino sign Mandragora, Braganca and Patterson as Celtic wait on Gineitis | OneFootball

Torino completed late deals for Rolando Mandragora, Daniel Braganca and Everton right-back Nathan Patterson, while a sale of Gvidas Gineitis to Celtic could yet follow before Thursday.

The Italian market closed at 19.00 UK time, 20.00 CEST, on Tuesday. According to Football Italia, Serie A clubs can no longer register signings unless they are free agents, but outbound transfers to leagues still open remain possible.

Celtic have long pursued Gineitis, with several bids rejected, and he could now be bound for Scotland. With Scotland’s deadline on Thursday, Torino started him in this evening’s Coppa Italia tie against Monza, and a sale worth around €10m is still expected.

Mandragora arrives from Fiorentina for about €5m plus up to €3m in add-ons, returning after a loan spell in 2021-22.

Braganca has joined from Sporting CP on loan for around €1m, with an option to buy at the end of the season for about €3m. Patterson, a Scotland international, comes in from Everton for €1m, with the Toffees retaining 30 per cent of any future sale.
