After notching up 37 goals and 15 assists with Sporting Braga, Congolese forward Simon Banza continued his impressive form at Trabzonspor, where he was on loan from the Portuguese side. With 22 goals and 7 assists for the Turkish club, the Lens academy product has proven himself to be among the elite strikers on the continental stage.

Although he is currently under contract with Braga until June 2027, Simon Banza could be heading to Germany. According to Foot Mercato, Wolfsburg is highly interested in securing the services of the Congolese forward.

The German side has shortlisted Simon Banza as they search for a clinical striker. Being courted by several clubs this summer, Banza will take his time to weigh his options.
