Several African wonderkids made their mark on the opening day of the group stage of theU17 World Cup.

Ten African nations are competing in the tournament: Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Burkina Faso, Mali, South Africa, Uganda, Senegal, Zambia, and Ivory Coast.
