Four Moroccan players have been selected in the team of the semi-finals of the U20 World Cup.

The "Lion Cubs" secured their ticket to the grand final against Argentina, set for Sunday, October 19, thanks to their dramatic penalty shootout win over France (5-4), after the match ended level at 1-1.

The honored players are goalkeeper Yanis Benchaouach, central defender Ismaël Baouf, defensive midfielder Hossam Essadak, and right winger Othmane Maamma.

Several other Moroccan talents have shone at this U20 World Cup, including the young prodigy Gessime Yassine, striker Yassir Zabiri, and right-back Ali Maamar.
