Valencia have agreed to terminate Baptiste Santamaría's contract, clearing his exit from Mestalla.

According to SDNA, the midfielder is due to arrive in Thessaloniki at 18:15 on Sunday from Munich to complete a free transfer to PAOK. The report adds that, if nothing changes, he would be their second signing and would link up immediately with Alessio Lisci's squad.

He trained on Friday under Carlos Corberán in Paterna, but an exit had long been imminent and he was not set to travel to Girona for the pre-season camp. He had been under contract until 30 June 2027.

The move frees a squad place, fits Corberán's plans, as he had not counted on the Frenchman since January, and gives the player time to reset with around a month and a half left in the window. The split is amicable.

It also signposts likely summer departures Cenk Özkacar and Dani Raba. Özkacar is also omitted from the Girona camp and on Friday began pre-season with medical tests at Hospital IMED. There is a willingness to find a solution if the situation is not working for either side.
