Valencia's penultimate session before travelling to Sevilla brought setbacks, with Guido Rodríguez, Justin de Haas and Luis Rioja ruled out. According to Superdeporte, the trio will miss the LaLiga match at the Sánchez Pizjuán on matchday five.

The Argentine midfielder and the Dutch centre-back continued individual work on the grass, still apart from the group and with no progress reported this week. Both are doubtful for the following fixture in Vitoria.

Rioja also sat out the group session and will not feature in Sevilla. By contrast, Dieng, Otorbi, Javi Guerra and Jesús Vázquez trained normally after recent knocks and are available to Carlos Corberán.

Valencia will hold a final session on Thursday morning, then travel in the afternoon to Sevilla to prepare for the league game.

Mouctar Diakhaby sustained a muscle injury in the last outing against Barcelona at Mestalla and underwent tests on Tuesday to assess the damage. After an initial examination, a significant injury is anticipated, and he left the stadium limping. The club have yet to issue a medical report on the defender.
