A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga outfit Valencia has on Tuesday been dealt an injury blow.
As much comes owing to developments in training early this morning.
As per a statement across Valencia’s website and official social media platforms, Dani Gómez has suffered a broken nose:
‘Valencia CF’s player Dani Gómez has been diagnosed with a fracture to his nose, sustained in training on Tuesday morning at the la Ciudad Deportiva.
‘He has been transferred to a medical centre and will undergo conservative treatment before returning to training.’
Frontman Gómez for his part made the move to Valencia from Levante during the summer, on loan for the duration of the 2024/25 campaign.
The 26-year-old has since gone on to notch a trio of appearances, amid what has proven a difficult start to the season for Los Che, culminating in just a solitary point earned across four fixtures.
