Federico Valverde - Vini - Mbappé
Federico Valverde spoke out after Real Madrid's hard-fought victory over Olympiakos (4-3) on Wednesday night.
Despite Kylian Mbappé's four-goal performance, Real Madrid's display against Olympiakos (4-3) did little to reassure their fans. Still, for now, the win is all that matters. Since last night, unity has been the watchword in the dressing room. After reports emerged about Xabi Alonso's attempts to reconcile with his players, it was Federico Valverde's turn to send out a message of togetherness.
"After a week where so much has been said, we are more united than ever. Having Vini and Mbappé is a privilege, but being able to count on the best team in the world is an honor. Personally, I am working hard to get back to my best form. The coach has always stood by me, supporting me and doing everything possible to help me keep improving and help the team. It's not always easy, but the coaching staff and players are more united than ever," wrote the player on his Instagram account.
