Rayan has told Vasco he is interested in a move to Bournemouth, with the Premier League club signalling an offer of around 35 million euros. He dreams of playing in Europe and in England's top flight.

His camp view Bournemouth as a possible springboard to bigger English and European clubs. The team are 15th in the Premier League but have recently sold Huijsen to Real Madrid, Kerkez to Liverpool and Semenyo to Manchester City.

The five-year contract on offer is attractive, and Rayan would arrive to replace Semenyo, the club's record sale.

"I ask Coutinho a lot," Rayan said in an interview with ge. "Some players go to Europe early but bounce back. I say, 'Coutinho, help me. I want to make my name in Europe and then make my name at Vasco again'."

His representatives want regular minutes and on-pitch development, and believe he would get that at Bournemouth. They also looked at Borussia Dortmund, but the Germans did not reach figures that satisfied them.

Zenit tabled about 31 million euros, but Vasco requested 50 million euros and did not consider a sale. Rayan is not interested in Russian football, and clubs from Russia are out of UEFA competitions because of the war with Ukraine.

A move outside the major European leagues would only be considered for an irresistible fee, with the player due a larger percentage as the price rises. Vasco currently hold 70 percent of his rights, which could fall to 60 percent depending on final terms.
