With Saibari, Musiala and Co: FCB begin final phase of pre-season | OneFootball

Pre-season enters the home stretch! FC Bayern held their first training session since the Audi Summer Tour on Monday, with new signing Ismael Saibari as well as Jamal Musiala, Lennart Karl, Serge Gnabry and Alphonso Davies, who didn’t travel to Jeju and Hong Kong due to injuries and fitness, all joining the group for the first time at Säbener Straße.

After a busy and intensive six days on the Audi Summer Tour, head coach Vincent Kompany gave his team the weekend off. Now the Reds have begun the final phase of preparations for the new season. In high summer temperatures, Joshua Kimmich and colleagues worked up a fair sweat. Following mobilisation exercises, some running and passing sequences, the tempo picked up with match situation drills.

Bayern have two more friendlies planned before the start of competitive action. This Saturday, the German record champions host RB Leipzig at the Allianz Arena in the Telekom Cup. FC Bayern TV PLUS subscribers can watch the match live. The final warm-up game before the Supercup at Borussia Dortmund (22 August) will then take place on Tuesday 18 August with the friendly at 1. FC Heidenheim, which will also be broadcast live on FC Bayern TV PLUS.
