According to ExpressAndStar.com, Wolves are hopeful Jose Sa will be available to face Brentford on Monday night as he recovers from an ankle issue.

The goalkeeper has been a regular under Rob Edwards but was left out of the squad for last week’s FA Cup tie against Liverpool, with the club choosing to rest him.

Edwards said the ankle is being managed and, while Sa remains sore, he has completed light training, so the staff are really hopeful he will be available. Sam Johnstone and Dan Bentley are both available.

Otherwise, Wolves have a full squad to choose from. Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, Toti Gomes and Hwang Hee-chan have returned from injuries in recent weeks, boosting options.

The players have Friday off and will train over the weekend for the Brentford match, with every player currently available for selection. Edwards praised the staff and squad for their work to keep the group fit, noting it is unusual at this stage of the season.
