Chelsea entertained Arsenal at Stamford Bridge earlier this evening as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Blues made a solid start to the game and found themselves at a numerical disadvantage in the 38th minute when Moises Caicedo was sent off by the referee for a reckless challenge. The two London sides went into the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.

Trevoh Chalobah gave Enzo Maresca’s side the lead in the 48th minute. However, Mikel Merino equalised for the visitors just 11 minutes later. The match ended with Chelsea securing a hard-fought 1-1 draw in front of their home fans.

LB: Marc Cucurella – 6.5/10

Cucurella cleared the danger when needed and made two good chances in the final third.

CM: Reece James – 8/10

He anchored the midfield well and gave a good account of himself in the Arsenal half. James has got an assist to show for his efforts.

CM: Moises Caicedo – 5/10

Caicedo let his teammates down by getting sent off in the 38th minute.

RW: Estevao – 6.5/10

He showed a few flashes of what he can do and was replaced at half-time.

Fernandez was a positive influence at both ends of the field.
