Sunderland table £29.9m De Ketelaere bid as Muharemović ‘could cost’ £34.1m | OneFootball

According to Sunderland Echo, Sunderland are reported to have tabled a £29.9 million offer for Atalanta forward Charles De Ketelaere, which has been rejected, while they are making a strong push for Sassuolo defender Tarik Muharemović, who could cost up to £34.1 million this summer.

The Black Cats have yet to add to their squad this summer. The 25-year-old De Ketelaere is currently at the World Cup with Belgium.

He has registered two goals and an assist in four outings so far. He has been with Atalanta since 2023, initially on loan from AC Milan before making the move permanent.

A product of Club Brugge’s academy, the versatile attacker has recorded 32 goals and 31 assists in 142 appearances for Atalanta.

Regis Le Bris’ side are admirers of Muharemović. The 23-year-old Bosnia and Herzegovina international is said to be on the radar of Bournemouth, with former club Juventus also monitoring his situation.
