Bryan Bergougnoux mourned by OL and supporters after sudden death aged 43 | OneFootball

Bryan Bergougnoux has died suddenly aged 43, leaving the OL family mourning a much-loved former forward.

According to Le Progres, the club have been struck again this May, his passing coming just days after the death of Fleury Di Nallo, the "Petit Prince de Gerland".

OL was his starting point after early years with Saint-Genis-Laval and INF Vichy.

He left that family a few years later to give fresh impetus to his professional career.

Even as his playing and coaching paths took him elsewhere, he was known for his lasting gratitude to his beloved club and its supporters, and his loss leaves a deep void in Lyon.
