CD Castellón condemn vandalism in Culla before I Fira Albinegra | OneFootball

CD Castellón have condemned overnight vandalism in Culla ahead of the I Fira Albinegra.

The club said in a statement that graffiti was daubed on stone walls and on elements of the town designated as Bien de Interés Cultural.

It described the acts as completely unacceptable for the damage caused to Culla’s historical heritage on Saturday, when the town hosted the family-focused I Fira Albinegra.

CD Castellón added that such behaviour is incompatible with the club’s values and the spirit of an initiative created to bring the team closer to the province. It expressed support for the municipality and rejected any antisocial conduct that harms the environment, coexistence and the good name of both club and town.

Despite these isolated incidents, the I Fira Albinegra went ahead without notable issues. A large turnout of families enjoyed the scheduled activities in a warm, festive atmosphere that reflected the event’s true character.
