Corinthians have arrived in Argentina with 25 players for the Copa Libertadores quarter-final first leg against Estudiantes on Wednesday at 21:30, at the Jorge Luis Hirschi. According to Meu Timao, the travelling party touched down on Monday night.

The squad reached Hudson, between Buenos Aires and La Plata, at around 21:30. Striker Yuri Alberto is absent after a setback in his recovery from a right hamstring injury last week.

Midfielder André Luiz remains out with a grade 2 muscle injury in his left hamstring. Centre-back André Ramalho is in partial training after labyrinthitis and forward Vitinho is in transition following surgery on the left knee meniscus, while Zakaria Labyad and Kayke are out for the season.

Midfielder Raniele is suspended for the first leg after being sent off against Rosario Central at the Neo Química Arena. Preparation began on Monday following a fourth straight Brasileirão defeat, to Chapecoense on Sunday at the same venue.

The second and final training session is scheduled for Tuesday at Defensa y Justicia’s facilities. Corinthians topped Group E with 11 points and knocked out Rosario Central in the round of 16, and now seek a semi-final berth to ease domestic pressures.
