Corinthians have dismissed administrative manager Rafael Salomão, who oversaw Nike logistics and the club’s storerooms. The decision was first reported by ge.globo on Tuesday.
Though presented as administrative restructuring, it is understood the exit reflected a mix of issues flagged by a 2025 internal audit, including storage and stock-control failings. The audit also identified diversion of kit by an employee who was then sacked. Salomão is said to have questioned the audit during evidence to the club’s Commission of Justice.
The document urged tighter controls at CT Dr Joaquim Grava and Parque São Jorge, citing issues around licensed purchases and supply, damaged stock, possible diversion, hygiene problems and what it viewed as excessive withdrawal requests by second vice-president Armando Mendonça, other directors and president Osmar Stabile.
In 2025 it recorded 8,396 items received, 5,882 issued to the sports department and 2,514 left in storage without formal justification. A shortage of white shirts before the 1-0 win at Fluminense led both teams to use their second kit after an emergency resupply proved impossible.
At a 4 February hearing, he warned about splitting stock between the CT and Parque São Jorge and recommended reunifying the warehouse, but the club has kept two sites, maintaining the professional squad’s inventory should remain at the CT with stronger controls. He declined to comment on his dismissal, which was presented as unrelated to his testimony and part of wider restructuring.
