‘Goretzkaaaa!’ and the fan feud following Leon Goretzka around | OneFootball

Since May 2023, elongated shouts of his name have trailed Leon Goretzka everywhere, a meme with millions of views. Two creators now claim they started it, and the dispute could end up in court.

According to L'Équipe, at Germany’s camp in Winston-Salem the midfielder hears it at training, on the bus and inside the hotel, with little choice but to endure it.

One account credits @Geldmrfifa with filming the first clip, a fan bellowing that 433’s TikTok drew 1.4 million likes. Thomas Müller laughed on camera, Goretzka did not, and the repetition spread.

But Finn, in his early twenties and known as @nebulafinn, insists he began it when Bayern skipped signing autographs and he shouted in frustration. He has since amassed nearly 400,000 followers and 18.8 million likes on TikTok.

He later met Goretzka on 29 November 2025 after Sankt Pauli, says he received the shirt, and claims the player was unbothered.

Finn says he then stopped to let him enjoy his final months, with the deal due to expire at month’s end and not be extended in Bavaria.

The authorship row rumbles on. @Darmstadt17, with 81.7 thousand followers, was touted as the originator but did not respond. Finn alleges copying and says his management are pursuing legal action.

The chant shows no sign of fading. In the United States he played 17 minutes in Germany’s 7-1 win over Curaçao on 14 June and the cries still rang out. A rival’s latest post drew 9.1 million views.
