Leicester City have lodged a six-figure offer for Hibernian centre-back Warren O'Hora, The Hibs Observer reports, as they push to add another defender before Tuesday's deadline.

O'Hora sat out Hibs' 2-1 win at Dundee, yet manager David Gray said his absence was unrelated to transfer interest and described him as simply unavailable. He added he was not aware of any bid, while acknowledging speculation would intensify before the deadline.

Gray said Hibs are active in the market, and while he is not looking to lose players, every player has a valuation and any decision would depend on what is right for all involved.

Leicester last week made Ilari Kangasniemi their 10th summer signing, the defender joining from FC Inter Turku to bolster options. Martin has said a more experienced centre-back will be signed before 11pm tomorrow.

O'Hora was recruited by Martin at MK Dons, initially on loan from Brighton and featuring in 17 games before a permanent switch in January. The former Republic of Ireland youth international has made 105 League One appearances and helped the Dons reach the 2022 play-offs. Since moving to Scotland, he has played in the Europa League and Conference League, with Hibs exiting in qualifying in each of the last two seasons.
