Metz ultras Horda Frénétik and La Gruppa ‘to resume’ active support in Ligue two | OneFootball

Républicain lorrain reports that Metz ultras Horda Frénétik and La Gruppa will resume active support this season in Ligue two.

The two principal groups had suspended matchday animation last winter, worn down by the club’s poor results.

Exasperated by the constant yo-yo between Ligue one and Ligue two, and eight relegations to the second tier this century, they said at the time they could no longer find the energy and motivation to back the team fanatically.

Their energy now appears restored at Saint-Symphorien, but they are not dropping their demand for a genuine long-term sporting project.

Supporters will see Metz at home to Guingamp on Saturday eight August for matchday one.
