Olympique Lyonnais return to training with ball as squad changes loom | OneFootball

According to Le Progres, Olympique Lyonnais returned to training with the ball on Monday 29 June in ideal conditions, with Kaïl Boudache and Paul Akouokou absent.

The session acted as a first contact and a brief assessment of a squad that could be significantly reshaped.

It marked the club’s 77th return to training. The setting was bright, the pitch immaculate, and the temperature now favourable.

There have been more colourful opening days across the previous 76 years.

Earlier generations ran laps behind Gerland’s north stand, while later groups toiled in the long grass at Tola Vologe.
