QSI completes KAS Eupen acquisition, months after taking control | OneFootball

Qatar Sports Investments said in a statement on Thursday it has finalised the acquisition of Belgian second-division club KAS Eupen, months after taking control.

The Qatari company, chaired by Nasser al-Khelaïfi, is now the club’s sole owner, having taken charge of sporting operations in December 2025.

The parties have worked closely to put firm foundations in place for Eupen’s long-term sporting and economic development.

Eupen is led by sporting director Pasquale Sensibile, appointed by QSI, and head coach Felice Mazzu.

Qatar has been involved with the club since 2012 through the Aspire academy, which used Eupen as a platform for young talents. The team were relegated to the Belgian second division in May 2024 after eight seasons in the top flight.

QSI has owned Paris-Saint-Germain since 2011 and holds a minority stake in Sporting Braga in Portugal since 2022.
