Joe Bevan created the opener in the ninth minute with a whipped cross as Dundee beat Aberdeen 2-0.

His early delivery from the right unlocked the visitors, a measured ball into the box that set up the breakthrough (9.).

Bevan kept stretching the defence, arriving at the far post to drag wide from close range (36.). He then burst in behind again and drew a smart save from the goalkeeper from a tight angle (40.).

After the restart he settled it with a composed finish, opening his body to curl a left footer into the top left from the right side of the area (56.).
