According to Sunderland Echo, the Black Cats saw a loan move for the 27-year-old Austria international rejected, but Florent Ghisolfi has kept him among the defensive options under review.

De Zerbi said Danso told him two days ago he wants out, adding that Richarlison and Pape Matar Sarr have expressed similar wishes. He stressed that anyone departing must help deliver a deal that suits Spurs financially.
