According to ExpressAndStar.com, Albion are working on a deal to sign 21-year-old Levante winger Kareem Tunde. Levante are said to want more than £4 million plus a sell-on, with a staggered structure around £2.5 million up front, and he reportedly travelled to England on Tuesday.

Tunde broke into Levante’s first team last Christmas and helped them secure La Liga safety on goal difference on the final day. He debuted on December 20 and first started on January 4, and has 22 league appearances with 17 starts, including one this season.

He is yet to score at senior level but claimed an assist in March around the time he signed a new three-year contract. An adductor issue in spring curtailed minutes after his early-year surge.

Born in Catalonia, he was in Espanyol’s academy from 2014 and Barcelona’s La Masia from 2017 before CF Damm in 2020. A move to Levante followed, a reserve bow came in January 2024, and a longer deal arrived after his late 2025 breakthrough.

A left-footer who can play on both flanks, he has also covered at right-back and wing-back. His pace, width and one-v-one ability stand out, qualities that could appeal to James Morrison given limited depth beyond new signing Nolan Galves.

He has described his debut as a dream and stresses hard work and consistency.
