Yuri Alberto out as Corinthians arrive in Argentina for Libertadores quarter-final | OneFootball

According to Globo.com, Corinthians arrived in Argentina on Monday night for Wednesday's Conmebol Libertadores quarter-final first leg against Estudiantes, but will be without Yuri Alberto.

Back in São Paulo earlier in the day, the squad reported to CT Joaquim Grava after the 2-1 defeat by Chapecoense. Players who featured for more than 45 minutes worked indoors on recovery, the rest trained collectively on the pitch.

The group departed the training ground in the afternoon and flew from Guarulhos, with the journey to Buenos Aires lasting almost three hours.

The delegation reached their hotel in Hudson shortly before 22:00, 29 kilometres from Estudiantes' Jorge Luis Hirschi stadium in La Plata. Kick-off is at 21:30 Brasília time.

Corinthians will hold their only on-site session at Defensa y Justicia's training centre on Tuesday, when a player is also scheduled to speak to the media.

The club travel with seven absentees: Yuri Alberto, André Ramalho, André, Vitinho, Zakaria Labyad, Raniele and Kayke. Alberto has suffered a setback in his recovery from a right thigh muscle injury and is out of the first leg, while Raniele is suspended after his red card against Rosario Central.

The travelling party includes Hugo Souza, Gabriel Paulista, Gustavo Henrique, João Pedro Tchoca, Allan, Rodrigo Garro, Alex Santana, Charles, Matheus Pereira, Jesse Lingard, Memphis Depay, Kaio César, Gui Negão and Pedro Raul.
