Allan arrives in São Paulo to join Corinthians, shares his hopes

Corinthians has reached an agreement with Flamengo for the loan of midfielder Allan, 28, until the end of the current season. The midfielder even arrived in São Paulo this Tuesday (10) to finalize the last details of his arrival and has already spoken as a player of the Alvinegro Paulista, mentioning his expectations of playing for the club.

“I already consider myself (a Corinthians player) and the expectations are the best. I came to play, to contribute, I am focused here, I want to build my history at Corinthians and help win titles. Joining a champion team increases the responsibility, because we know we have to raise the level, I come to add. But I am prepared, I came from a big team too and everything will work out”, said the midfielder.

Allan also spoke about the importance of coach Dorival Júnior for the negotiation to happen. Furthermore, the midfielder also stated that he believes he can regain his good form during his time at Corinthians.

“Dorival Júnior's presence at Corinthians was fundamental, he showed interest in having me as part of the project and that made me more comfortable with my decision. Yes, without a doubt (I can regain my form at Corinthians), especially with the help of the team, of Dorival. It is a club that, I will comment on this part later, but it is my dream to play for Corinthians and everything will work out”, said the player.

The midfielder also spoke about the anxiety of finalizing his arrival at Timão and revealed that playing for the club is a personal dream. Additionally, Allan stated that he is physically fit, despite having played only 45 minutes in 2026 for Flamengo.

“I was anxious, I won't deny it. It took a little while, but it ended up working out, I wasn't even sleeping, I was eager to get here, train, and play. Now it's about building my history within the club, training, evolving, and winning titles. I was training, I am physically well, now it's about gaining match rhythm and you only gain that by playing. But I am prepared, if needed, I am already available”, he concluded.

Revealed in Internacional's youth system, midfielder Allan has experience in foreign clubs, having played in Finland, Belgium, Germany, Cyprus, and England. In 2019, he returned to Brazil to defend Fluminense, then coached by Fernando Diniz. Later, in 2020, he was acquired by Atlético-MG, where he stayed until 2022, winning the Campeonato Mineiro, Copa do Brasil, and Campeonato Brasileiro.

Since 2023, he has been with Flamengo, but in recent months, he lost his place in Filipe Luís's team and was consequently placed on the negotiable list. In 2026, he played only once for the Rubro-Negro. At the Rio de Janeiro team, he was a state champion (2024 and 2025), Copa do Brasil (2024), Brasileirão (2025), and Conmebol Libertadores (2025). If signed, he is expected to compete for the position with Raniele, in the role of the first midfielder.

So far, Corinthians has already announced the signings of defender Gabriel Paulista, right-back Pedro Milans, midfielder Matheus Pereira, and forward Kaio César. Additionally, the Alvinegro has a pre-agreement with João Ricardo and is in advanced talks for the renewal of left-back Fabrizio Angileri and the arrival of Moroccan midfielder Zakaria Labyad.
