Lazio head coach Maurizio Sarri is placing the final touches on his starting lineup against Juventus, but he still has to resolve a couple of doubts up front.

Lazio Defender Alessio Romagnoli Ready to Start Against Juventus

The Biancocelesti will travel to Turin on Saturday to take on Luciano Spalletti’s revitalized team on Sunday evening, in what could be a daunting mission for the Aquile, their hopes will be boosted by Alessio Romagnoli’s return. According to La Lazio Siamo Noi, the 31-year-old has overcome the muscle issue that hindered his training earlier in the week, and is now the favorite to start.

With Romagnoli back in the lineup, Oliver Provstgaard will be dropped to the bench. Mario Gila and Adam Marusic will keep their automatic spots at the back, while Nuno Tavares will fill in for the suspended Luca Pellegrini on the left flank.

Lazio Midfield Will Remain Unchanged

With Nicolo Rovella still struggling for fitness, the midfield will remain intact. Danilo Cataldi will operate as a deep-lying playmaker, with Toma Basic to his right and Kenneth Taylor on the left. Moreover, Adrian Przbyborek is one to keep an eye on, as the Polish teenager could make his Lazio debut coming off the bench in the second period.

Pedro & Tijjani Noslin Vying for a Starting Role

While the majority of the starting lineup has already been defined, Sarri still has some doubts in attack. Gustav Isaksen is expected to start ahead of Matteo Cancellieri on the right wing, but the other two spots remain up for grabs. Pedro is the favorite to replace the injured Mattia Zaccagni on the left side once more, but Tijjani Noslin is challenging him for the role.

Daniel Maldini is The Favorite for the Striker Role

During his unveiling, Daniel Maldini confirmed Sarri’s plan to transform him into a centre-forward, so the Atalanta loanee is once again tipped to lead the line. However, he will have to ward off competition from fellow new signing Petar Ratkov, as well as Boulaye Dia, who remains in the conversation.

Lazio Probable XI (4-3-3): Provedel; Marusic, Gila, Romagnoli, Nuno Tavares; Basic, Cataldi, Taylor; Isaksen, Maldini (Ratkov/Dia), Pedro (Noslin).
