A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has this week been lavished in fresh praise.
The player in question? Marcus Rashford.
Frontman Rashford is for his part of course in the midst of something of a career resurgence at present.
After seeing his progress as a player come to a concerning standstill on the books of Manchester United, the Englishman swapped Old Trafford for the aforementioned Barcelona over the summer.
And the change of scene has since worked a treat for club and player alike.
Across the early months of the new campaign, Rashford has emerged as one of the Blaugrana’s standout players, currently boasting the most goal contributions in Hansi Flick’s squad.
Such form has also given rise to a recall to national team duty with England.
And early this week, Three Lions head coach Thomas Tuchel moved to reveal his personal appreciation for the talents of the 27-year-old:
“Rashford? His ceiling is very high. Perhaps higher than others. He has potential and you have to consistently reach your personal best. It’s not just about talent, but also to be able to prove at International and Club level. Marcus can be one of the best players in the world with the quality I see in training. He’s great at shooting with both feet and he’s fast, strong in the air, so where’s the limit? He has no limit But his numbers don’t reflect his potential. He needs to work harder to be impactful in creating and scoring goals.”
