Leeds United finish Elland Road tribute to Marcelo Bielsa with Bielsa Place | OneFootball

Leeds United have completed a permanent Elland Road tribute celebrating supporters and honouring Marcelo Bielsa, with the final Legacy Stones now in place at Bielsa Place.

The club said in a statement that the new section sits on the East Stand beside reception, with 1,777 stones installed and 673 supporter names featured.

The area includes a marble replica of Bielsa's bucket, the seat he was known to sit on during matches, and a stone silhouette of one of his most recognisable images.

Bielsa Place was introduced alongside Howard's Way as two new Legacy Stones sections for supporters to etch their names into Elland Road. Installation of Howard's Way is currently expected between the end of July and the start of August.

All Legacy Stones are now sold out online, and supporters have been thanked for their backing.
