PSG are in the mix for a standout LaLiga defender who’s also drawing interest from Aston Villa and Arsenal. With Luis Enrique thriving in Paris, particularly when it comes to nurturing young players, the capital club could be an enticing destination for the rising star.

Even with one of the strongest backlines in Ligue 1, PSG are starting to show some wear after a long, demanding season. Lucas Hernandez is still working his way back to full fitness after a major injury, and captain Marquinhos isn’t quite the same explosive force he was in his early 20s.

Presnel Kimpembe remains a respected leader in the squad, but there’s uncertainty around how much he can contribute in the near future. And while Luis Enrique sees big potential in Lucas Beraldo, the young Brazilian isn’t ready for a starting role just yet.

Foot Parisien weighed in on the transfer race ahead of the summer window, explaining why they believe PSG hold the advantage.

According to Radio Marca, Aston Villa are keeping a close eye on Mosquera. The Premier League side—led by Unai Emery and with Monchi overseeing transfers—have been tracking the young defender since last season.

Their strong relationship with the Spanish club has given them a chance to follow Mosquera’s development up close.

Recently, Foot Mercato reported that Paris Saint-Germain have set their sights on Valencia center-back Cristhian Mosquera as part of their push to add more youth to their defense this summer.

Meanwhile, Cadena SER reports that Arsenal are preparing a summer bid for the Spanish-Colombian defender. The Gunners are said to be ready to offer around €20 million, a figure Valencia considers fair for one of their most promising young players.
