Sadiq heads to Valencia to sign until 2028

Carlos Corberán will soon have his first signing. Umar Sadiq is travelling to Valencia to complete a permanent move and sign until June 2028, covering the rest of this season and two more.

According to AS, Valencia have agreed a transfer with Real Sociedad worth between three and four million euros, depending on performance-related clauses.

The Nigerian forward said goodbye to his Real Sociedad team-mates and coaching staff this morning, then left for Valencia with the club's permission to finalise the remaining details. He posted a photo on Instagram, then deleted it.

Academy striker Gorka Carrera trained with the first team during Real Sociedad's session today.

Valencia plan for Sadiq to train with the group tomorrow and Friday and to be included in the squad to face Elche at Mestalla on Saturday at 21:00. With Hugo Duro suspended, his redebut becomes even more necessary.
