Wolves’ second signing of the summer is imminent, with Raul Jimenez agreeing to re-join the club on a free transfer.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, staff flew to Mexico this week to finalise the deal, and the striker has now agreed his return.
He is set to be unveiled after leaving Fulham at the end of his contract. He has completed his medical and will sign a two-year deal with an option of a third.
Jimenez is due to feature for Mexico in the World Cup opener on Thursday against South Africa, so Wolves moved quickly to conclude the move this week.
The forward spent five years at Molineux and was integral to Nuno Espirito Santo’s successful side, becoming a favourite with supporters.
Home fans sang his name when Wolves faced Fulham in the final home game of last season. His return follows the signing of experienced defender Kieran Trippier after his departure from Newcastle.
