Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are both interested in signing Rodri (30) from Manchester City this summer. According to a report from L’Équipe, PSG’s bid for the Spanish international midfielder could be seen as a counterblow to the La Liga outfit have they accelerated their interest in Les Parisiens’ priority target Yan Diomande (19) from RB Leipzig. 

The Ligue 1 champions had previously reached an agreement with the Côte d’Ivoire international on personal terms. However, now that Madrid have entered the race for his services, he has now agreed to join the Spanish capital club and they are now negotiating a deal with the Bundesliga outfit. 

PSG aiming to push up the price for Rodri?

Real Madrid have made no secret of their desires to sign the Manchester City midfielder. With the Spanish club now proceeding ahead with signing Diomande, the French capital club have expressed their interest in the Ballon d’Or winner. Even if Rodri only intends to sign for Madrid, PSG’s interest will only ramp up his asking price.
