Sunderland visit Oxford United in the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday, two pm kick off, at the Kassam Stadium. They hope a win will carry them into the fifth round.

According to Sunderland Echo, Régis Le Bris said on Friday he had not decided on his goalkeeper, while reiterating his intention to name a strong side. With Robin Roefs selected at Everton, he seems almost certain to continue.

Nordi Mukiele’s recent workload and league importance might make him a candidate for a rest. If so, Trai Hume would likely drop deeper to start at right back.

Dan Ballard is one of the first names on the league teamsheet. Even with changes expected at the back, he might be asked to go again.

Omar Alderete will likely be rested as he manages a minor foot issue. Luke O'Nien impressed against Everton, so it appears almost certain he comes into the side.
