A fierce scramble for tickets has greeted Spain’s return to Vila-real, with the Spain v Serbia fixture at Estadio de la Cerámica on Friday 27 March 2026, 21.00, sparking huge online demand.

El Periódico Mediterráneo reports that sales opened at 17.00 on Monday 23 March, sending thousands online and creating lengthy virtual queues, with many waiting more than 20 minutes.

Tickets are being sold exclusively online via the Real Federación Española de Fútbol platform, concentrating all traffic and adding pressure to the process, with some early users facing waits of around half an hour and uncertainty over availability.

An initial pricing phase from Monday 23 to Tuesday 24 March, billed as popular pricing, has further accelerated purchases. Preferencia and Goles sections carry significant discounts before a 20% rise on Wednesday 25.

Base prices range from 20 euros in Fondo Norte and Fondo Sur to 50 euros in Tribuna Preferencia Central, with Tribuna Preferencia Lateral at 45 and Tribuna Preferencia Esquina at 35.

Each transaction is limited to a maximum of six tickets, a measure intended to order sales, though it has not stemmed the surge in requests.
